Pennsylvania is trying to get a skateplaza finished, it’s entered in the Pepsi Refresh contest, and need votes to get $250,000 funding to complete this skateplaza. Heres the web site where you vote at.
It had been ten years since Jordan Hoffart unsuccessfully tried to varial heel the Carlsbad gap, and after he stopped by TWS last week and told us he wanted to go back and get it—and that he had it in three tries—we of course said, “Lets do this!” So on Saturday, right before San Diego got bombarded with another weekend of rain, we met up at Carlsbad, pulled out the camera, put $100 on the line, and he went for it. Did he make it? How many tries did it take him? Here’s how it went down…
