NEW VIDEO

Sometime after Fully Flared dropped, Jereme Rogers mentioned that himself and the rest of his Plan B teammates where pushing to make a video which would rival the Lakai team masterpiece. I hadn't thought much about what he meant by this until this weekend, when Plan B unleashed Superfuture, a promo hyping the estimated 2010 release of the Plan B full-length. While a couple riders had footage that stood out as subpar by comparison, Jereme wasn't faking jacks about his teams mission to either take on, or take out Fully Flared. The promo starts up with their only am, Ryan Decenzo, getting tech as hell with sh*t like switch frontside hurricane grinds down decent-sized rails. Kids good and clearly demonstrates why he's on. . Danny Way pretty much shut down the mega-ramp. Just watch his no-handed 360 flip on that beast. He also puts down a tre flip manual on a mega manual pad. And you know that giant Vert wall following the mega-gap? Danny kickflips into that sh*t amongst other things. Jereme Rogers was laying down some tech stuff that is innovative as hell. P-Rod, the same. PJ Ladd threw down some buttery lines with ridiculous control. And the ender of this thing went to Ryan Sheckler, who is without a doubt, trying his hardest to put the haters to rest. I can't remember the last time I watched legit street footage of Sheckler. It must have been the Almost video. Sheckler skates fast and goes big. Dude even puts down a kickflip indy on the mega ramp. While not everything in this promo is mindblowing, there are more than enough "Oh sh*t" moments to make you realize that innovation is still a key component in professional skateboarding.
