Macdonald flips to victory on Day Two of Kia X-Games Asia
Shanghai – Skateboarding legend Andy Macdonald retained his Skateboard Vert title with another virtuoso display of technique and style on Day Two of Kia X-Games Asia 2008, a day which also saw the titles of the BMX Park and Men’s Speed Climbing decided.
A perfect example of ‘from old-school to new-school’, 18-year-old Garrett Reynolds from USA won the BMX Park title in his first foray into Kia X-Games Asia while Indonesia continued to dominate Speed Climbing.
While there was action happening all around the ground, the Moto X demonstrations, which are also a three-day event, continued to wow crowds with their death-defying big-air jumps.
Skateboard Vert Finals
Defending champion and crowd favourite Andy Macdonald brought the house down with another gigantic performance to win the Skateboard Vert Finals. While his win was not a surprise, unheralded Josh Stafford stole into second place. The American, who is from San Diego, California the place where Macdonald is also from, was placed fourth in the preliminary round but came out firing in the final round. Renton Millar from Australia came in third.

Hmm..i don;t find Andy Mac was the legend there. You should consider legend to Sergei Ventura and Nicky Guerrero. Well that's my opinion lah. - Boy @ Skatemalaysia.com
