Gallant goes back to Expedition and keeps on rolling.
After five years as one of the skaters handpicked to be a part of the second Plan B reincarnation, Ryan Gallant is finally going back on Expedition, where he started. The change represents the new and the old. For a kid who blew up in a lil' known shop video that went global, it's a split from the namesake of that career kickstart. No longer teammates with P.J. Ladd, he's got a chance to pick up again where he started with Expedition and think about all the things that have happened to him since, with a smile on his face and a renewed excitement about skating. Take a look at my interview with Ryan Gallant about his return to Expedition-One Skateboards.
Angel didn't have enough footy for the Tilmode video, but he has a whole lot of photos backed up.
Rob Brink got a hell of an interview with Daryl Angel for what was supposed to be the "Clinical Research" section of The Berrics, but with a few changes, it got left behind. So, he's posted the interview up on his site. It covers everything from the misperseptions people have about Daryl, the offensive Matt Eversole and making deals with your ladyfriend.
The newest drone's out and it's a sandwich.
It's hard to compete with someone as mind-bogglingly good that has so little regard for their own welfare, which is why Leo sandwiches the latest footage from Austin Stephens, Collin Provost and Matt Bennett. Still, the most recent video drone from Toy Machine is rad all the way through. Take a look at the aptly titled Leo Sandwich and salivate over thoughts of the upcoming Toy Machine video. It's gonna be good.

SKBSG SK8 NEWS UPDATES
Fresh off a solid part in Flip's "Extremely Sorry," Luan has quite a lot of fanfair...and with good reason. I saw him step on the course and the first trick he did was nollie nosegrind, nollie flip out on one of the ledges on the course—no warm-up. Luan won the contest with tricks like that and flawless lines all day, which included this switch bigspin heelflip down the steps.

The brand new Theeve Trucks brand is building quite a team. After announcing the initial riders including Garrett Hill, Matt Mumford, Dan Murphy, Gareth Stehr, Chad Bartie and Ben Raybourne, the brand announced today that they've enlisted the one and only Tony Hawk to the squad. Theeve's titanium trucks seem to be attracting some A-lsit rippers. Could titanium be the new metal of choice for skateboard trucks? Time will tell.

Not much else to say other than Bastien Salabanzi murdered it, and he knew it. In the clip where he gave away his shirt and sat down in the crowd, there was still 15 minutes left in the jam session. So Bastien reclaimed his board and did the last two tricks sans shirt, and iced it with the Cab double flip. The rest of the video features: Dominik Dietrich, Eero Antilla, Alex Olson, Chris Pfanner, Julian Bechet, and Bastien.
