SKATE SHOE CARE

SKATE SHOE CARE

Upper Materials:Suede/Nubuck

Use a soft bristle brush to gently brush leather surface. A soft soap product on a clean cloth can remove spots. Dry away from direct heat. Do not soak or immerse in water. Treat with a leather care product for additional protection, if desired. Suede looks best when brushed, although special suede brushes are available, a clean toothbrush works just as well.
Leather (Smooth Action)

Use a soft soap product and a soft bristled brush to scrub off surface dirt. Leather can be gently washed down with water and a clean cloth, but do not soak or immerse in water. Dry away from direct heat. Leather can also be polished and conditioned with a leather lotion applied with a soft cloth.

Canvas + Nylon Mesh

Use a soft soap product and a soft bristled brush to scrub off surface dirt. Canvas and nylon mesh can be gently washed down with water and a clean cloth, but do not soak or immerse in water. Dry away from direct heat. (Note: white mesh is difficult to restore to a “brand new” look).

Synthetic Leather

Use a soft soap product and a soft bristled brush to scrub off surface dirt. Synthetic leather can be gently washed down with water and a clean cloth, but do not soak or immerse in water. Dry away from direct heat.
Outsoles:Rubber Sidewalls

Use a soft soap product and a soft bristled brush to scrub off surface dirt. Rubber sidewalls can be gently washed down with water and a clean cloth, but do not soak or immerse in water. Dry away from direct heat.
Insoles:FootbedsInsoles can be removed from the shoe and washed by hand in the sink with a soft soap product. Dry away from direct heat. Do not put your insoles in the dryer, which may cause them to shrink or lose their original shape.
